"I try to establish and maintain a rapport with the owners all the way through the job, from ground breaking to handing them the keys to their new home once it’s finished. And I love for my clients to get involved. I encourage it. But if they defer to me, I'm not afraid to make a decision. If the clients are from out of town and can’t be at the site all the time, I take digital photos and email them so they can know what’s going on and see the progress. That way we can discuss any issues that may arise and everyone is on the same page. You have to be conscientious and empathetic. It's gotten to the point lately that a lot of our clients want us to incorporate custom built-ins in their homes. We're happy to do them and it really makes a home unique.

I like to be thorough and I enjoy getting in there and working right along with my crew.
